Preface

The book presents examples of specification and analysis of information systems. The authors focused on practical issues. The chapters of the book contain a sequence of tasks that form the stage of analysis of functions and data of an example information system. These tasks can be one of the processes in software production technology.

The authors have omitted processes related to IT project management. The reader should be aware that the sequence of tasks presented next must be properly coordinated and monitored. However, these issues are beyond the scope of this publication.
