Network transformations
Modern organizations operate in increasingly complex environments, where relationships between individuals, teams, and departments are crucial for effective knowledge management, innovation, and operational flexibility. Formal structures, although important, do not fully reflect the actual flow of information and cooperation. For this reason, the importance of analyzing and transforming organizational networks, i.e. the systems of relationships and interactions occurring within a company, is growing. Network transformations are aimed not only at improving communication and increasing the effectiveness of operations, but also at identifying key actors, eliminating information barriers, and supporting the creation of an environment conducive to knowledge sharing. Thanks to organizational network analysis tools, it is possible to consciously design and modify relationships in a company, which is the foundation of a modern approach to managing human resources and intellectual capital.
· Local view – refers to a perspective limited to a specific element, object, situation or part of a system. It focuses on details and information available immediately at a given place or time, without taking into account the broader context.
The local view can be used when you want to analyze in detail a specific element of the system, such as a single workstation, to identify performance problems or improve the daily tasks performed by a given employee.

Global View – presents a broader perspective, encompassing the entire system, structure, or problem. It allows for analysis of the relationships between individual elements and understanding the overall picture of the situation.
The global view is used in situations where we need to look at the entire organization – for example, when designing a company development strategy or analyzing the relationships between departments to better understand how the entire structure functions and how changes in one area can affect others.

Contextual view – is a view of a given element taking into account its environment, dependencies, and relationships with other parts of the system or situation. It allows for a better understanding of the meaning of a given object in a broader context by combining the local view with information beyond the immediate area of interest.
The contextual view is useful when we want to understand a specific phenomenon in a broader environment – for example, when analysing why a given employee makes certain decisions, it is worth taking into account their team relationships, current project goals and the organisational culture in which they operate.
