In social network analysis (SNA), we are not only interested in who is connected to whom, but also in how people organize into groups within a larger system. After discussing concepts such as centrality and structural holes, we now focus on node clusters and subnetworks — key tools for understanding how social structures emerge and interact. These concepts help us explore patterns of dense interactions and identify important communities or thematic regions within complex networks.
